MSC Portugal is glad to announce that from June 1st, 2009 a new system of Pluggin was implemented in the rail wagon. This system allows the transportation of reefer containers by train keeping the necessary conditions of refrigeration of the products.
This new system makes Sines’ Port more competitive, and offers to the import and export national and international market an excellent alternative at low prices. This solution is the result of a close cooperation between CP and MSC Portugal.
We believe that it will be a strong advantage to our customers; the clients will have a commercial advantage and better transit times, the transport will be easier and it will be possible to move reefer containers to the dry ports of Bobadela and Riachos. |
